About the Role

As an Account Executive at PLS Logistics Services, you will act as an essential resource for your customers, helping ship their freight across the nation, 24/7/365. This is an inside sales role supported by the company and your co-workers.

Key Responsibilities

• First Week:
• Learn about PLS Logistics Services and the logistics industry.
• Hear from leaders on how to be successful.
• Participate in fully paid training and orientation.
• Familiarize yourself with the business model and transportation management system.
• Begin making calls and growing your network.
• First Month:
• Develop a portfolio of clients by cold calling using provided industry leads.
• Negotiate pricing to close deals.
• Take charge of client service issues to the point of resolution.
• Be open to coaching and learning.
• Update the tracking system accurately.
• First Six Months:
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, managing their logistics challenges.
• Liaise with Logistics Coordinators.
• Seek out promotional opportunities.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including rates, capacities, and carriers.
• First Year and After:
• Opportunity to define your own path and growth.
