About the Role

Crossing Infotech is hiring a Backend Developer Intern for a full-time remote internship in India. The internship runs for 1 to 3 months. Interns work on live projects under the guidance of experienced team members.

Job Details

• Duration: 1 to 3 months
• Stipend: INR 15,000 to INR 16,500 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend features and REST APIs using Node.js or Python with guidance from the team.
• Write SQL queries to store, fetch, and update data in databases.
• Design simple database tables and connect them with application logic.
• Integrate APIs with front-end applications and third-party services.
• Handle authentication, validation, and error handling in backend modules.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and code collaboration.
• Test APIs using Postman, debug issues, and improve performance.
• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Node.js or Python (functions, OOP concepts, async programming).
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE).
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of databases and backend concepts.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Express, Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Basic understanding of authentication (JWT) and API security.
• Any backend project, course, or certification.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc (Computer Science or IT), M.Sc, or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in backend development.
• Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
