Financial Analyst

About the Role

Vittiya Insights is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the delivery of CEO Support Services. This role involves analyzing financial and operational data, developing management reports, monitoring business performance, and generating actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. The candidate will work closely with internal teams, client finance teams, and business leadership, gaining exposure to different industries and business models.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and previous periods.
• Perform revenue, cost, profitability, and margin analysis.
• Identify key performance drivers, variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Support financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Management Information Systems (MIS) & Reporting
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
• Develop business performance matrices covering key financial and operational KPIs.
• Analyze revenue, EBITDA, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of management reports.
• Support management review meetings through structured reports and presentations.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze receivables, payables, inventory, and working capital requirements.
• Track collections, payment cycles, and cash flow trends.
• Identify potential liquidity gaps and opportunities to improve cash flow.
• Sales Analytics & Business Performance
• Analyze sales by customer, product, geography, and business segment.
• Monitor sales targets, growth trends, pricing, and contribution margins.
• Evaluate customer and product profitability.
• Identify business performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management in tracking business objectives and performance indicators.
• Data Analysis & Process Improvement
• Extract, validate, classify, and analyze financial and operational data.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based models, reports, and dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardize reporting processes.
• Coordinate with client teams to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
• CEO & Management Decision Support
• Convert financial and operational data into meaningful business insights.
• Assist in identifying performance gaps, cost optimization opportunities, and growth drivers.
• Prepare presentations and reports for business owners and senior management.
• Support management in evaluating business performance and making informed decisions.
• Contribute to client assignments across financial planning, performance management, and business analytics.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• CA Inter, CMA Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, SUMIFS, and data analysis.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client assignments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, or other reporting and visualization tools.
• Exposure to SAP, Tally, or other ERP and accounting systems.
• Experience in MIS reporting, FP&A, business analysis, or management consulting.
• Ability to interpret business trends and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
