• Maintain cleanliness and a culture of compassion, caring, warmth and support within our hospital.
• Spend quality time and build solid relationships with patients and their families.
• Go above and beyond for patients to deliver superior customer service and ensure their comfort and safety at all times.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Capable of using equipment and tools necessary for performance of duty.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions.
• Must be able to work with patient and bodily fluids/excrement/odors.
• This position will require registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.
• Full time position, working days from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, including every Saturday and Sunday.
• All roles require on-site presence and employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-6 months of hospital housekeeping experience
• Extensive customer service experience and a desire to Put Patients First.
• Experience in the hotel, restaurant or retail industry.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $25.89-$27.52/Hourly
