Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

• Onsite hybrid schedule.
• Supporting Central time zone with a 40-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying, capturing, analyzing, and managing the company’s quality data.
• Generating trend monitoring reports for quality and technical customers using current technology platforms.
• Providing feedback and improving automated functionality of JMP, VBA, Minitab, Power BI, and TIBCO reporting tools.
• Data entry/verification.
• Statistical report review.
• Maintaining logs for report tracking.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good personal/communication skills.
• Highly organized with good attention to detail.
• Power BI
• VBA
• JMP
• Minitab
• Excel Macros (nice to have)
• Statistical analysis software such as JMP and Minitab (nice to have)

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1 year of experience with statistics.
• Some statistical background (reporting includes trend analysis).
• Basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
• Knowledgeable in statistical analysis in Excel.
• Fast learner.
• Adaptability and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Keen interest in statistics is desirable.
• Knowledge of control charts and process capability is a benefit but not essential.
