Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Assist client staff, visitors, and coworkers, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Observe and Report: Stay alert for suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence: Maintain a professional appearance and stand guard in and around building lobbies, reception areas, control centers, etc.
• Security Officer: Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas.
• Access Control: Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas, check employee and vendor IDs, and follow proper access procedures.
• Safety Patrol: Ensure a safe and secure environment, enforcing policies and reporting safety concerns.
• Emergency Response: Assist in emergencies, including administering CPR/First Aid/AED and communicating with emergency personnel.
• Security Liaison: Maintain professional communication with client staff, follow through with client requests, and update site supervisors/operations managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• This is NOT an armed security position. Weapons are not permitted on the premises.
• No prior experience is required.
• Military veterans and individuals with experience in security, firefighting, department of corrections, or law enforcement are encouraged to apply.
• Shift Opening(s): Various days (Monday - Sunday) - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
• Rate of Pay: $17.60
• Must be able to use a smart mobile phone or computer to check emails and complete online training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent education certification (e.g., GED).
• Must pass a drug screening at the time of hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana). Federal laws regarding marijuana use will be complied with.
• Must not have been convicted of any felonies.
• Must not have been convicted of any misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information or evidence, controlled substances (including for marijuana), or two or more alcohol-related offenses.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for 8-12 hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified (Child, Infant, and Adult), or willing to become certified and physically capable of administering lifesaving care.
• Must be able to see clearly at least 20 feet away (with glasses or contact lenses if necessary).
• Must be able to hear conversations in loud environments.
• Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be professional and possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must have excellent personal integrity and a positive attitude.
• Must complete required trainings on time and adhere to all client and company policies.
• Current employees on active disciplinary probation are not eligible.
• Employees previously removed from the contract governing this position will not be considered.
• Previous employees on disciplinary probation at the time of separation will not be considered.
