Associate Software Engineer

About the Role

At Trendwick, you will write code for our trading tools (indicators and EAs for TradingView, MetaTrader, and cTrader) and for our new AI chat assistant and AI agents. Senior developers will guide you daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Build the AI assistant: Write Python code for our AI chat assistant and AI trading agents.
• Work with AI models: Connect our apps to AI models like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, and test their responses.
• Write prompts: Write and improve the instructions (prompts) that guide the AI.
• Make trading tools: Build indicators and EAs for TradingView (Pine Script), MetaTrader (MQL4/MQL5), and cTrader (C#).
• Turn rules into code: Convert trading rules (e.g., buy/sell conditions, stop loss, target) into working code.
• Work with market data: Retrieve live prices from APIs and process the data in Python.
• Use Java and C: Write Java and C code as project requirements dictate.
• Test your code: Verify your own code and fix bugs identified by the testing team.
• Save and share code: Utilize Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
• Write documentation: Create concise notes explaining your work for others.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic Python, Java, and C.
• Basic OOP concepts.
• Basic Data structures and algorithms.
• Basic SQL.
• Git and GitHub.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Logical thinking and a passion for learning.
• Proficiency in English and any Indian language.
• No trading knowledge is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Open to any graduate or post-graduate from any year.
• Freshers, career-gap candidates, and career switchers are welcome.
