About the Role

Officer - CSP at Samsonite Group APAC & Middle East

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning And Control
• Plan the production & dispatch of finished goods (FG) as per customer orders, ensuring timely and full delivery.
• Create and maintain production and shipment schedules, prioritizing orders for optimization.
• Calculate capacity, plan, and schedule Extrusion (for sheets), Vacuum forming (for shells), Pressure forming machines (for shells), and Assembly lines (in-house & subcontracting) on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis to optimize production and inventory.
• Identify delays and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Manage dispatch plan activities for FG, including container scheduling with customers and the export department, shipping instructions, sales order preparation, and ASN preparation.
• Effectively use the JIT system to monitor and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production quantities, material availability, and dispatched goods against orders.
• Inventory Control
• Ensure inventory of raw material and finished goods is controlled as per norms.
• Control inventory costs through proper order execution.
• Control production to avoid excess production of sheets, shells, and finished goods using the JIT system.
• Initiate liquidation of surplus goods.
• MRP Forecasting & Planning
• Prepare month-wise order details and forecast using sales figures for MRP.
• Run MRP through the ERP system twice a month.
• ERP Ln
• Prepare production orders for manufacturing in the ERP system.
• Create Sales Orders in the LN ERP system.
• Coordination With Internal And External Customers
• Coordinate with overseas customers for orders, dispatch schedules, etc.
• Ensure orders are delivered on time, fully executed, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments (development, purchase, import/export, production, toolroom, stores, BSR, quality, etc.) for on-time delivery.
• MIS
• Maintain open order status of export & domestic orders.
• Prepare ISO reports.
• Prepare Monthly reports.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Graduate
• Familiarity with ERP Ln
• Proficiency in JIT system
• Experience with MRP
• Knowledge of Extrusion, Vacuum forming, Pressure forming machines, and Assembly lines planning.
