Environmental Engineer

About the Role

Domtar is seeking an Environmental Engineer for their Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania location. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance preparation and reporting related to air, water, and waste at the Johnsonburg Mill and the north and south chip plants.
• Continuous improvement of the environmental management system and processes.
• Completing regulatory reporting, including internal metrics, tracking, and record retention.
• Sustaining air, water, and waste regulatory compliance.
• Field testing/sampling and other daily management system checks within the workplace.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to demonstrate communications cross-functionally within the organization.
• Ability to execute work both as a team and independently.
• Improvement-minded work mentality.
• Environmental work experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Successful completion of a selection process which may include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug screen, and aptitude tests.
