Associate SAP Data Analyst

About the Role

Toyota's Data and Analytics Department is seeking a passionate and highly-motivated Associate SAP Data Analyst. This role will primarily support data preparation, analysis, and reporting across SAP and cloud-based analytics platforms, helping to build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and insights for business decision-making. Reporting to the Data and Analytics Manager, this position will contribute to the department's goal of delivering trusted, timely, and actionable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data extraction, transformation, and loading activities using SAP data sources and analytics platforms.
• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
• Work with SAP Datasphere and AWS big data platforms to support data integration and reporting needs.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and basic analysis to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into analytics outputs.
• Document data processes, report logic, and solution design for operational support.
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution for data pipelines, datasets, and BI reports.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0 to 1+ year of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related projects.
• Ability to validate, cleanse, and analyze structured data with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to document findings and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with any programming language (C++, Java, Python, SQL, etc.).

Added Bonus

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Exposure to Python, data modeling, ETL concepts, or SAP analytics tools.
• Experience working in SAP data structures, SAP Datasphere, and/or AWS data platforms.
• Experience with PowerBI and/or Tableau.
• Relevant Certifications: SAP, AWS, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or data analytics certifications.
