Operations Associate Development Program

About the Role

The Associate - Operations-Leadership program is a twelve-month, full-time, entry-level training program designed to prepare you for an operational leadership position in one of RRD's manufacturing facilities across the United States. The program offers comprehensive training in all areas of manufacturing facilities to learn RRD solutions and manufacturing processes.

Note: The Associate Development Program follows a cohort class model with specific start dates. For Smyrna, TN, hiring is for February 2027 or July 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn several production rotations and the six core plant business functions: manufacturing, logistics, operations, administration, human resources, and finance.
• Shadow position-specific roles and then perform in those roles for a period to complete each rotation.
• Assist Plant Leaders in the everyday functions of the facility as learning opportunities arise.
• Attend plant meetings, both internal and external.
• Read publications about the print and manufacturing industries to increase understanding of the field.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Understanding of basic business practices.
• Written and Verbal communication prowess.
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, IT, marketing, finance, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
• Prior internship in a manufacturing company/environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of the printing process is a plus.
• Motivated to succeed.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High energy level.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Self-Confident.
