Cluster Coordinator

About the Role

The Cluster Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Patiala, responsible for coordinating cancer awareness, screening, and support activities within assigned clusters. The role involves planning and executing field programs, liaising with local partners, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders, and ensuring timely implementation of foundation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee data collection and reporting from camps and outreach activities.
• Monitor program progress.
• Support logistics such as venue arrangements, mobilization of participants, and distribution of materials.
• Supervise field staff or volunteers.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with beneficiaries.
• Help connect patients and survivors to relevant support services.
• Contribute to process improvement.
• Document best practices.
• Ensure alignment of cluster operations with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in basic data collection, documentation, and reporting using digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, online forms).
• Ability to work on-site and in the field, including travel within the cluster as required.
• Familiarity with basic concepts of cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection, or willingness to learn through training.

Qualifications

• Strong coordination and project management skills, with the ability to organize multiple field activities and meet timelines.
• Community outreach, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills, preferably within public health or social sector programs.
• Effective communication skills in English and local/regional languages, with the ability to conduct sessions and interact with diverse groups.
• Demonstrated sensitivity and empathy when working with patients, survivors, and vulnerable communities.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, community development, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in NGO or healthcare programs is an advantage.
