About the Role
Team Members are essential to promoting a healthier lifestyle by serving delicious food and smoothies with a touch of tropical fun at Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
Key Responsibilities
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values.
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer.
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies.
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards.
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations.
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the cafe.
- Operates the register, including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, and being responsible for the drawer.
- Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand.
- Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe.
Physical Requirements
- Continuous standing and walking throughout each shift.
- Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds for stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash.
- Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
- Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stopping, overhead reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting no greater than 50 pounds.
Requirements & Tech Stack
Flexible hours are available, including shifts starting at 5:00 AM or until midnight.
Must complete all sections of the application, including work history and education.
