About the Role

This is an onsite role in marketing and promotions. We are looking for an Entry Level Marketing Assistant to help raise brand awareness with target audiences. Paid training will be provided. The ideal candidate is excited about working with nonprofit causes and will bring a fresh approach to our team dynamic. You will work across all levels and departments to understand client impact and communicate it to the world. You will uncover potential donor insights and deliver innovative marketing campaigns to drive ongoing fundraising. You will be responsible for understanding what attracts new donors and improving the donor registration experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Increase donor funding with strategic brand positioning and territory management
• Shape and communicate our vision and mission through public speaking and one-on-one presentations
• Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
• Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives
• Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
• Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
• Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
• Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
• Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
• Devise innovative growth strategies
• Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to receive training and coaching in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
• Can handle fieldwork and high volume of in person interaction
• Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
• Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
• Outstanding communication skills
• Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
