Counsellor

About the Role

INTAS Foundation, the CSR arm of Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd., is seeking a compassionate and committed Counsellor for its Rajkot, Gujarat location. This field position focuses on providing essential mental health support to individuals and families affected by cancer and other chronic medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients and caregivers to address psychological needs arising from medical conditions.
• Offer socio-economic guidance.
• Raise awareness about various social and health security schemes.
• Maintain case files, patient data, and reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare institutions, clinicians, and other service providers to facilitate patient access to healthcare services and navigate treatment journeys.
• Establish and maintain networks with hospitals and healthcare institutions, fostering strong relationships with service providers.
• Coordinate patient-centric services and empower patients and caregivers with necessary knowledge and skills.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge and skills in Counselling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
• Diligence in reporting and administrative matters.
• Documentation and reporting skills.
• Working knowledge in English and local language proficiency.
• 20% travel within and outside state required.

Qualifications

• Graduation or Post-Graduation in Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
• Experience in public health and reporting will be a plus.
