About the Role

Software Engineers at Accenture Federal Services are responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software capabilities that support mission operations and system management across a complex technical environment. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about learning, collaborating, and contributing to a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of software components that support development capabilities and mission-critical workflows.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues under the guidance of more senior engineers.
• Implement enhancements, features, and bug fixes in accordance with established coding standards and configuration-management practices.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and other software developers to understand requirements, document changes, and ensure technical accuracy.
• Support integration and deployment activities across development, test, and operational environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvements and team best practices.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation as part of the development lifecycle.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Familiarity with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, containerization, or DevSecOps concepts.
• Foundational understanding of software development principles, version control, and debugging practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks or CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and domain knowledge.
• Must have an active Top Secret clearance or higher.
