Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, proactive, and problem-solving Operations Intern who wants to experience the realities of building a startup from the ground up. You will work directly with the founding team across daily operations, inventory management, production planning, supplier coordination, order fulfilment, and process development. This is an execution-oriented role for someone who is comfortable taking initiative, working with limited resources, and turning ideas into practical solutions. We value ownership, resourcefulness, and execution over theoretical knowledge alone.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Execution: Support daily business activities, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely execution of operational priorities.
• Inventory & Procurement: Track raw materials, packaging supplies, stock movements, and replenishment requirements.
• Order Fulfilment: Coordinate order processing, packing, dispatch, and delivery-related activities.
• Production Planning: Assist with production schedules, resource allocation, and preparation planning.
• Supplier & Partner Coordination: Communicate with vendors, suppliers, retail partners, and other stakeholders.
• Quality & Process Control: Monitor product consistency, packaging standards, hygiene practices, and operational procedures.
• Data & Reporting: Maintain operational records, work with Excel or Google Sheets, and track key performance indicators.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, reduce avoidable wastage, and develop practical solutions to recurring operational problems.
• Customer & Market Feedback: Collect customer insights and support initiatives to improve product acceptance and repeat purchases.
• Startup Projects: Take ownership of assigned projects and support new initiatives that strengthen Samachify’s operational foundation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong problem-solving ability and a practical, analytical mindset.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to take responsibility.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic understanding of operations, inventory, supply chain, or business development.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and productivity tools.
• Ability to plan tasks, track progress, and manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic startup environment where processes are still evolving.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently graduated in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• You do not need to know everything before joining. You do need to be willing to learn, take initiative, and follow through on commitments.
