HTML/CSS Developer Intern, India

About the Role

Skillzenloop is seeking a motivated HTML/CSS Developer Intern passionate about website design, frontend development, and creating visually appealing user interfaces. The intern will assist in developing responsive web pages, implementing website layouts, and improving user experience, gaining practical exposure to modern web development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structured web pages using HTML5 and CSS3.
• Create responsive website layouts for desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Convert design mockups and wireframes into functional web interfaces.
• Apply CSS Flexbox, CSS Grid, and other layout techniques to build consistent page structures.
• Maintain consistent typography, spacing, colours, and alignment across website pages.
• Assist in improving website accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Identify and resolve HTML and CSS issues.
• Optimise page layouts for usability and visual consistency.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement interface requirements.
• Maintain clean, reusable, and well-organised code.
• Assist in updating existing web pages and improving their responsiveness.
• Use Git and GitHub to manage code changes when required.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with Flexbox, CSS Grid, and media queries.
• Basic understanding of website structure and semantic HTML.
• Knowledge of CSS animations and transitions is beneficial.
• Familiarity with JavaScript fundamentals is an advantage.
• Understanding of website accessibility and cross-browser compatibility is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and visual consistency.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or a related field may apply.
• Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Candidates with personal websites, academic projects, or sample HTML/CSS work are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants should have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection.

• Duration: 1–3 Months
• Stipend: ₹15,000–₹16,000 per month
