About the Role

GURU KIRPA IMMIGRATION & EDUCATION is a full-time, on-site Counselor position based in Bathinda. The company specializes in Study Visas, Spouse Open Work Permits (SOWP), and Visitor Visas.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide clients through study, spouse open work permit, and visitor visa options.
• Explain eligibility and process details.
• Assist with documentation and application preparation.
• Conduct client consultations.
• Assess profiles.
• Recommend suitable countries and institutions.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams.
• Follow up with clients on application status.
• Provide timely updates and support.
• Uphold regulatory and company guidelines.
• Deliver clear communication.
• Contribute to a client-centered service environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Counseling and advisory skills with the ability to assess client needs and recommend suitable immigration and education pathways.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including clear spoken and written English and comfort interacting with diverse client backgrounds.
• Organizational and administrative skills for managing documentation, maintaining client records, and tracking application progress.
• Customer service orientation, including patience, empathy, and a professional approach to handling questions, concerns, and follow-ups.
• Basic knowledge of visa and study abroad processes.
• Proficiency with common office software and digital tools for scheduling, record-keeping, and online application portals.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Bathinda.
• Ability to meet targets.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Ability to adapt to process changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Prior experience in immigration, overseas education, or a related field is preferred.
• Additional certifications in counseling or international education are an advantage.
