About the Role
Tecta America Colorado is committed to providing quality commercial roofing systems. This role involves working outdoors on a flat roof with a Service Foreman, learning different roofing techniques and tools. Opportunities for advancement exist as basics are mastered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform roofing work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
- Work outdoors on a flat roof.
- Climb ladders.
- Bend and perform roofing techniques and use tools.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly.
- Repeated bending, climbing ladders, and kneeling.
- Comfortable with heights and being on a roof.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
Preferred
- Knowledge of roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and slope (tile/shingles).
- Past residential and/or commercial roofing or construction experience.
Working Conditions
- Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature.
- Extensive standing, walking, and climbing ladders.
- Frequent lifting.
- Local travel.
Compensation
- Pay starting at $20-$25/hr DOE (Depending on Experience).
