Injection Molding Operator

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Injection Molding HOF role based at the Plastochem facility in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating injection molding machines.
• Adjusting parameters, loading materials, and monitoring equipment during production.
• Performing start-up, shut-down, and changeover procedures.
• Inspecting molded parts for defects.
• Maintaining documentation related to production output.
• Performing basic preventive maintenance.
• Reporting equipment issues.
• Following safety and quality guidelines.
• Collaborating with supervisors and quality personnel to meet production targets and resolve issues.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Machine Operation and Injection Molding, including setup, parameter adjustment, and safe handling of equipment.
• Skills in Quality Control, with the ability to inspect parts, identify defects, and follow quality standards and procedures.
• Skills in Injections and related molding processes, ensuring accurate material usage and consistent production cycles.
• Skills in Preventive Maintenance, including routine checks, minor adjustments, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliability in meeting shift requirements.
• Capability to work in a team-based production setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Relevant experience in a manufacturing or plastics processing environment is preferred.

Technical training in machine operation or plastics manufacturing is an advantage.
