About the Role

Join Butterball for an exciting 10-12 week summer internship in Garner, NC. As a Finance Intern, you will gain exposure to projects supporting the business within Accounting and Finance, with a primary objective to grow future leaders by providing professional development and assignments within the processing and manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside the accounting and finance department.
• Build ad-hoc reports.
• Analyze data.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Assist with data reconciliation.
• Help prepare monthly financial summaries.
• Participate in special projects such as variance reporting or inventory analysis.
• Gain exposure to financial systems.
• Develop an understanding of internal workflows.
• Help identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity (leadership role preferred).
• Demonstrated strong academic performance.
