About the Role

Tricog Health is a global healthcare technology company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior WordPress Developer to join their team. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience eager to build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
• Install, configure, and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Assist in implementing website layouts based on design requirements.
• Update website content, images, and pages through WordPress CMS.
• Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs.
• Integrate forms, third-party plugins, APIs, and tracking tools.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.
• Perform regular website updates, backups, and maintenance activities.
• Test websites across different browsers and devices.
• Follow coding standards and maintain documentation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good understanding of WordPress CMS.
• Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor preferred).
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Basic knowledge of website hosting, domains, and DNS concepts.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of website performance and SEO fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of jQuery.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce.
• Exposure to Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Basic understanding of AI tools and Generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of website security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications or project experience in WordPress development will be an added advantage.
