About the Role

Ocean Downs Casino, located in Berlin, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Dishwasher. This is a year-round, developmental position with an excellent compensation package.

Job Summary

• Pay: $16.20 / hour
• Full-time, year-round position.
• Located 10 minutes from Ocean City, MD.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment.
• Performs routine cleaning of dishes, glasses, flatware, and other kitchen items.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, floors, mats, and related areas.
• Maintains standards of cleanliness and adheres to Department of Health Regulations.
• Responsible for the proper use of supplies and equipment.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and execute written, verbal, and demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Must be able to lift forty (40) pounds without difficulty, repeatedly.
• Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience with dishwashing equipment, cleaning, and sanitation is preferred.
