About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Video Editor, primarily for short-form content. This is a fully remote, execution-heavy role where you will ship clips daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing footage and deciding what to use
- Assembling and synchronizing footage
- Applying special effects, color correction, and other post-production techniques
- Creating and inserting graphics, titles, and sound effects
- Collaborating with the team to meet expectations and adherence to creative briefs
- Converting long-form Zoom calls (podcasts) and raw talking heads into fast-paced shorts for TikTok, Reels & YT Shorts.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Demonstrated experience in video editing, specifically for short-form content.
- A portfolio with short-form clips you’ve edited, ideally cut from long-form content.
- Hands-on experience with at least one AI editing tool (e.g., Opus Clip, SubMagic, Veed.io, Descript, CapCut).
- AI clipping and captioning tools (e.g., Opus Clip, SubMagic, Descript or your pick).
- Claude Code and MCPs.
- Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Adobe After Effects.
- Adobe Audition.
- Any other tools that get the job done faster.
Qualifications
- Fully capable of editing long-form videos into short-form content under supervision.
- Comfortable with AI editing tools and keeps up with new tools as they launch.
- Ability to develop your own unique creative style rather than simply copying trending formats.
