About the Role
Sola is an AI-native platform reinventing enterprise process automation. We are building the technology to automate historically manual enterprise processes using AI agents. We are hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to help bring Sola to large enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Dive deep on customer workflow failures using logs, browser tools, APIs, and code, then implement and verify fixes.
- Build custom integrations and contribute production code to Sola's platform, turning recurring customer needs into reusable improvements.
- Join customer calls alongside Customer Success, ask questions that clarify the problem, and own the solution through resolution.
- Help customers onboard and adapt their workflows to Sola, including occasional travel for customer onboarding and key projects as needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong technical foundations, whether from a CS degree with demonstrated coding abilities, or hands-on experience in a strong technical environment.
- Flexibility to move across different customer environments, with a solid understanding of how core web technologies work and the ability to dive into complex desktop or legacy systems.
- A strong sense of curiosity and a drive to go anywhere needed to solve tricky customer problems.
- Excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to turn complex technical findings into clear non-technical explanations.
- Production code contribution.
- Familiarity with logs, browser tools, and APIs.
- Understanding of core web technologies.
- Ability to work with desktop or legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Open to early-career engineers, new graduates with demonstrated programming ability, or strong customer-facing engineers who are comfortable writing production code.
Location
- Work 5 days a week out of our office in NYC.
- Occasional travel to customers as needed.
- Relocation support provided.

- Compensation Range: $120K - $200K
