Full-Time Physics Faculty

About the Role

NIYA ICSE Academy is looking for a committed Physics Faculty member to teach students from Classes 8 to 12 across ICSE and CBSE curricula. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to prepare students for school examinations and board examinations. The role includes offline classroom teaching and scheduled online classes conducted from our teaching studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics to Classes 8–12 according to the applicable ICSE and CBSE syllabi.
• Explain concepts using examples, diagrams, numerical problems, and practical applications.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question banks, and chapter-wise tests.
• Conduct regular assessments, revision classes, mock examinations, and pre-board preparation.
• Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor student progress and support students who need additional guidance.
• Conduct online classes from the academy's teaching studio when scheduled.
• Coordinate with academic coordinators regarding attendance, syllabus completion, and student performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• M.Sc. Physics, B.Sc. Physics, or an equivalent relevant qualification with demonstrable subject expertise.
• Prior experience teaching school-level Physics preferred.
• Good understanding of ICSE and CBSE syllabi.
• Ability to teach numerical problem-solving and board-examination concepts effectively.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools.

Working Schedule

• Full-time, on-site position at Banashankari 3rd Stage, Bengaluru.
• Flexible teaching shifts may include early mornings starting around 6:00 AM and evening classes extending up to 9:00 PM.
• Weekend classes may be scheduled according to batch requirements.
• Candidates must clearly indicate their availability for morning and evening shifts.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates currently residing in Bengaluru, particularly those able to commute conveniently to Banashankari 3rd Stage, are preferred.
