2027 Early Career Systems Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the systems engineer team in building out new products to satisfy customer requirements in new and challenging mission areas.
• Contribute technical inputs to engineering execution plans.
• Develop tools for oversight of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers through all phases of program execution up to and including delivery and operation of capabilities on-orbit.
• Assist in process development for mission and system level trade studies and analysis to balance risk, cost, and performance.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
• Able to start full time in 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong technical communication skills, providing the ability to deliver critical technical briefings and conclusions to technical leadership.
• Strong technical fundamentals in an engineering discipline.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering principles.
• MATLAB experience.
• Experience in Linux.

Salary Range: $100,000—$130,000 USD (base salary only)
