Product Operations Analyst

About the Role

Instawork is seeking a detail-oriented and automation-savvy Product Operations Analyst to help optimize operational processes and ensure data accuracy across their platforms. This role is an opportunity to grow a career at the intersection of operations, data, and intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Data Quality & Integrity: Implement and maintain robust processes for validating and verifying data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all platforms. Develop and enforce data quality standards.
• Build & Deploy Automation Solutions: Design and implement automation workflows using N8n, Zapier, or custom scripts to eliminate repetitive manual tasks. Identify bottlenecks and create scalable automation solutions.
• Leverage AI for Operational Excellence: Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and other LLMs to automate data processing, generate insights, create documentation, and enhance decision-making.
• Manage End-to-End Projects: Own short-term and long-term operational projects with comprehensive documentation and adherence to timelines. Define performance metrics, accuracy benchmarks, and provide proactive updates.
• Drive Process Improvements: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation, better tooling, and process redesign. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that reduce manual work and improve data accuracy.
• Partner Across Functions: Work closely with Biz-Ops, product management, engineering, billing ops, and sales teams to understand data requirements and operational needs. Collaborate on initiatives that enhance data accessibility and usability.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Automation Enthusiast: Passionate about eliminating manual work through automation. Experience building workflows using tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make.com.
• AI-Powered Problem Solver: Actively leverages AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or other LLMs for productivity, problem-solving, and insights.
• Data-Driven & Analytical: Comfortable diving into databases using SQL, analyzing trends in Excel or Google Sheets, and creating dashboards.
• Technical Tinkerer: Enjoys building solutions using no-code/low-code platforms like Replit, Retool, or similar tools. Willingness to write simple scripts or work with APIs.
• Process Optimizer: Natural instinct for identifying inefficiencies and redesigning processes. Organized, detail-oriented, and focused on creating scalable, repeatable systems.
• Self-Starter & Collaborative: Ability to work independently and partner effectively with cross-functional teams including Biz-Ops, product, sales, and payroll.

Qualifications

• Nice to Have: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Nice to Have: Experience with Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages.
• Nice to Have: Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.
• Nice to Have: Experience creating dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar visualization tools.
• Nice to Have: Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
