About the Role
Laneway is a next-generation business management consulting company focused on driving growth through consulting, technology, and media services. This is a remote internship role for a Fullstack Developer Intern at Laneway. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications across both front-end and back-end components.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features.
- Write clean and efficient code.
- Contribute to UI development using HTML, CSS, and related frameworks.
- Support server-side logic and APIs.
- Help debug issues.
- Optimize performance.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Work closely with consulting and media teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and prototypes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Basic familiarity with HTML and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
- Experience working with APIs, databases, and server-side languages.
- Skills in Full-Stack Development, with the ability to integrate front-end and back-end components.
- Foundational knowledge of web application architectures.
- Foundational knowledge of version control (e.g., Git).
- Foundational knowledge of debugging tools.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Interest in startups, business innovation, and using technology to solve real-world business challenges is a plus.
