Full Time Return Agent

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring a 40-hour work week for a Return Agent at the Honolulu International Airport.

• Rate of Pay: starting at $18.56/hour

Available Schedules

• Schedule 1: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday through Tuesday
• Schedule 2: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday
• Schedule 3: 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday and Tuesday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Friday through Sunday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide superior, friendly, and efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process.
• Assist customers with the rental return process.
• Offer professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service while accurately completing all transactions.
• Perform all responsibilities with a focus on customer needs and quality standards.
• Greet all customers using prescribed, appropriate dialogue.
• Remind customers to check for personal belongings and turn in found items.
• Advise and review rental charges, providing accurate receipts.
• Provide professional and courteous information regarding transportation to the airport terminal.
• Thank customers using prescribed dialogue.
• Inquire about service satisfaction and document dissatisfaction.
• Discreetly check vehicles for damage and direct customers to the counter for damage/loss reports.
• Determine if vehicles are returned with a full tank of gas using proper statements.
• Complete service alerts for any mechanical or body damage communicated by customers.
• Identify and verify the movement of vehicles on system hold or flagged for grounding/maintenance to proper lot locations.
• Keep the lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rental/return documents, fuel services, surcharges, and optional coverages.
• Understand the damage loss report reporting procedure.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Valid US driver's license
• Ability to work 40 hours per week based on business needs (aside from religious observation).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship.
