About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Repórter role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and gather information from multiple sources.
• Conduct interviews and verify facts to produce accurate, timely news and feature stories related to healthcare and technology.
• Write clear, engaging articles.
• Prepare multimedia content such as photos, audio, or video.
• Collaborate with editors and other team members to refine story angles and meet deadlines.
• Monitor relevant industry developments.
• Attend events or briefings.
• Adapt complex information into accessible content for diverse audiences.
• Adhere to ethical journalism standards and editorial guidelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong Reporting skills, including research, interviewing, and fact-checking.
• Excellent Writing and News Writing skills.
• Clear, professional Communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Multimedia skills, such as basic photo, audio, or video production.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools.
• Proficiency with content management systems and social media platforms.

Qualifications

• A degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare or technology sectors.
• Strong editorial judgment.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site newsroom environment.
• Ability to maintain high ethical and accuracy standards.
