Security Officer

About the Role

The Security Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points.
• Verify identification and authorizations.
• Conduct routine patrols of premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or safety incidents.
• Operate security equipment such as CCTV systems.
• Report irregularities or suspicious activities.
• Document incidents and daily security logs.
• Collaborate with site management and other teams to enforce security procedures.
• Support emergency response drills.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety protocols.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in physical security operations, including access control, patrolling, and incident reporting.
• Ability to operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV, alarm panels, and communication equipment.
• Strong awareness of safety and emergency response procedures, including basic knowledge of fire safety and evacuation protocols.
• Good observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess and respond quickly to potential risks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, visitors, and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining logs, preparing incident reports, and using digital record-keeping tools.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by site operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Security Officer or in a similar protective services role.
• Experience in industrial or environmental services settings is an advantage.
• Relevant security training or certification.
• A clean background record.
• Familiarity with local security regulations is beneficial.
