Data Engineering Consultant

About the Role

• Work on architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, and security.
• Ensure all relevant best practices are followed.
• Execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate suggested designs/technologies.
• Possess or acquire strong troubleshooting skills for issues across different technologies and environments.
• Architect using modern technology stacks and design Public Cloud Applications leveraging Azure.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with big data technologies, such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with data security and privacy concerns.
• Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with data modeling and data management techniques.
• Familiarity with software development principles and agile methodologies.
• Solid programming skills, particularly in languages commonly used for data engineering, such as Python, Java, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven solid problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills.
