About SViam

SViam builds Maya, an AI technical interviewer that runs a live, spoken interview while the candidate codes in the browser. Maya follows a candidate's approach as they type, asks follow-up questions about their decisions, and turns the conversation and the code into a scorecard a hiring team can review. Engineers use SViam to practice the interview that decides. Companies and campus placement teams use it to run consistent first-round technical interviews.

The Role

You will own how Maya conducts and reviews technical interviews, working directly with the founder.

Key Responsibilities

• Build the reasoning loop that guides Maya through a technical interview.
• Develop follow-up questions that respond to what a candidate says and builds.
• Turn live interview conversations into structured evidence the hiring team can review.
• Own the features you ship, from implementation through release.

Qualifications

• You can build and debug AI features and explain why they behave the way they do.
• You can turn conversation data into structured outputs that people can review.
• You take ownership end to end and can defend your design choices.
