About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant (CA) role in the premium food segment. The role emphasizes strong operational discipline, financial transparency, and sustainable business practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including posting journal entries and maintaining general ledgers.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and monthly/annual closing.
• Ensure statutory compliance with tax, GST, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting and cost analysis.
• Implement and maintain internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
• Work with operations, procurement, and management teams to align financial practices with business objectives.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger management, and preparation of balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements.
• Experience with GST, TDS, corporate tax filings, statutory audits, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Ability to perform cost analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and inventory-related financial tracking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Pune District and manage responsibilities independently under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage.
