About the Role

The Owner role at Culwa Bridals is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the boutique’s operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing staff
• Supervising customer service
• Ensuring a high standard of bridal consultation and fittings
• Handling vendor relationships
• Inventory selection and purchasing
• Budgeting
• Pricing
• Basic financial oversight
• Leading local marketing initiatives, social media presence, and collaborations
• Setting operational processes
• Maintaining store presentation
• Resolving escalated client concerns
• Driving long-term business strategy

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or fashion management, preferably in bridal or occasion wear, with strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to oversee boutique operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Comfort with basic financial tasks such as budgeting, pricing, and monitoring sales performance.
• Interest in fashion trends, fabric types, and bridal styling, with the ability to advise clients confidently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients, staff, and vendors.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple client appointments and operational issues.
• Experience with local marketing, social media, and brand promotion is highly beneficial.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to take ownership of outcomes, and readiness to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Prior experience in running a small business or leading a team is an advantage.
• Formal education in business, fashion, or retail management is preferred but not mandatory.
