About the Role

We are looking for a memorable Meat Team Member with a passion for food. You will execute day-to-day operations in our Meat and Seafood departments and provide a memorable experience to all our customers. You are a responsible team player, always ready to learn, with a keen eye for Food Safety and Sanitation. You will assist in stocking, production, and merchandising while offering unmatched customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide memorable customer service during daily customer interactions.
• Prepare and package raw meat and seafood.
• Share food knowledge with customers.
• Maintain cleaning, Food Safety, Safety, and Sanitation throughout the department.
• Execute day-to-day production, merchandising, and quality control of all department offerings.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise department products.
• May work in other departments as needed.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow through on verbal and written directions.
• Ability to reliably meet required work schedule and adhere to company attendance policy.

Physical Demands: Employees may occasionally experience the following for an extended period: Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending.

Qualifications

• Friendly and customer service oriented.
• Interest in food and cooking is a plus.
• Experience in customer service, restaurant, barista, food service, grocery, or similar is desired.
• Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
• Skills to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
