About the Role

Withum's Outsourced Accounting Systems and Services (OASyS) provides scalable outsourced accounting and finance services to improve client workflow and transparency. OASyS offers tailored services to clients ranging from large organizations to startups, allowing business owners to focus on their passion while maintaining financial knowledge. Withum is seeking accounting majors graduating in the upcoming school year for the November 2027 class.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Senior Associates, Managers, and Partners to support and balance multiple client needs.
• Managing bill payments, invoicing, and cash receipt applications for clients in a timely fashion.
• Performing bank and general ledger account reconciliations; investigating and resolving reconciling items.
• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for clients.
• Running payroll and reconciling related journal entries.
• Assisting with the setup and implementation of new accounting systems and procedures based on client needs.
• Assisting with various ad hoc accounting and reporting projects, both client-facing and internal.
• Effectively and clearly communicating with clients and coworkers across various channels.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Graduating college student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
• Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, Justworks, Xero, and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work well on a team.
• A highly organized personality with strong attention to detail.
• A flexible and adaptable attitude to new situations, including learning new software.

For positions in Washington, the compensation for this position ranges from $70,000- $76,000.

Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
