About the Role
The Manufacturing Yard Laborer at Tindall Corporation, a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer, assists with the production of concrete members by cutting strand and supporting the concrete pouring process. This role also involves general plant housekeeping and miscellaneous tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Receives instructions, rolls torches, steel, and tool buggies to the bed and unloads.
- Lays out rebar, plates, loops, channel, and insulation.
- Pulls strand, threads bulkheads, block outs, frames, and dead man.
- Cuts strand with a grinder and places chucks on ends.
- Places and ties rebar, loops, stem and flange wire, chair flange wire, and places form and side plates.
- Prepares for pours.
- Cleans up around beds after members are stripped and disposes of trash, scrap wood, etc.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor.
- Follows all Safety and Quality rules and processes.
