Entry-Level Brand Marketing Associate

About the Role

Next Gen Exposure is expanding in Kalamazoo, MI, and seeking motivated, personable individuals for full-time, in-person, customer-facing retail positions as Entry-Level Brand Marketing Associates. This role focuses on customer engagement, brand representation, product education, and creating positive customer experiences. Previous marketing experience is not required; paid training and ongoing coaching are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent client brands professionally within retail locations.
• Engage directly with customers to create a welcoming experience.
• Learn customer needs and explain relevant products, services, and promotional offers.
• Support face-to-face brand awareness and customer engagement initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with new and existing customers.
• Work with team members and leadership to support campaign objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of current products, services, and promotions.
• Participate in ongoing training focused on communication, customer service, product knowledge, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in areas such as Retail Sales Associate, Customer Service Representative, Brand Ambassador, Wireless Sales Representative, Hospitality Associate, Restaurant Server or Host, Event Staff, Team Lead, Shift Lead, or Assistant Manager may transfer well.

Experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, wireless, electronics, events, promotions, or other face-to-face customer environments can translate well.
