Deployment Engineer Intern

About the Role

You will investigate and resolve client technical issues, diagnose root causes using logs, API responses, and scripts, and communicate clear escalations when product fixes are needed. You will support large deployments, prepare environments, configure platforms, validate data before go-live, and improve deployment playbooks. As you develop expertise, you will create scripts, internal tools, and AI agents that automate repeatable delivery work.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve client technical issues during and after onboarding
• Analyze logs, API responses, and scripts to identify root causes
• Serve as a technical contact for clients and escalate clearly diagnosed product issues
• Support archive migrations, platform setups, bulk operations, and backfills
• Prepare environments, configure deployments, perform data checks, and validate go-live readiness
• Follow and improve deployment playbooks
• Build scripts, internal tools, and AI agents to prevent recurring issues
• Automate and package repeatable delivery work
• Help improve the Deployment team's daily use of AI

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Be in the final year of an engineering program or hold a master's degree in Business with technical-topic experience
• Understand APIs
• Read and understand code in Python, JavaScript, Bash, or similar languages
• Modify existing scripts
• Use AI tools regularly and understand their limitations
• Communicate with clients and technical teams
• Be fluent in written and spoken English
• French is a plus
