About the Opportunity
Amrize is seeking an Electrical Engineer I under the Build For Growth program in Ballwin, Missouri. This role supports power distribution, motor control systems, and automation hardware across industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Systems Support: Assist in troubleshooting, designing, and maintaining industrial power distribution systems and MCCs.
- Automation & Controls: Collaborate with senior controls engineers on PLC programming, HMI screen development, and instrumentation calibration.
- Capital Project Support: Assist in the review of electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and equipment vendor packages.
- Preventive Maintenance: Support electrical predictive maintenance technologies including infrared thermography and motor circuit analysis.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce NFPA 70E arc flash standards and NEC electrical safety regulations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 0-2 years of electrical engineering experience or internship experience in an industrial setting.
- Skills: Foundational knowledge of electrical power, circuit design, PLCs, and safety standards.
Work Location & Schedule
- Location: Ballwin, Missouri, United States (On-Site)
- Schedule: Full-Time standard business hours
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $75,000 - $98,000 per year + Bonus
