AI Content Specialist

About the Role

Alignerr is seeking experienced data scientists to join their expert network and help train cutting-edge AI systems. This role involves stress-testing model reasoning, authoring gold-standard solutions, and providing rigorous technical feedback to improve AI models. The work is remote and flexible.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Advanced Challenges — Create complex, domain-specific data science problems including hyperparameter optimization, Bayesian inference, cross-validation strategies, and dimensionality reduction.
• Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions using Python/ R scripts, SQL queries, and mathematical derivations.
• Audit AI-Generated Code — Evaluate model outputs using libraries like Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow for correctness, efficiency, and best practices.
• Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify logical failures (e.g., data leakage, overfitting, improper handling of imbalanced datasets) and provide structured feedback.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, big data technologies (Spark/Hadoop), or NLP.
• Ability to communicate complex algorithmic and statistical concepts clearly and concisely in writing.
• Precise and detail-oriented when reviewing code syntax, mathematical notation, and statistical conclusions.
• No prior AI or annotation experience required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems.
• Familiarity with production-level data science workflows, including MLOps or CI/CD for models.
• Hands-on experience deploying or monitoring models in real-world environments.
