Event Marketing & Sales Coordinator

About the Role

The Market Social is hiring an Entry Level Event Marketing Associate to support the planning and execution of live campaigns. This role offers hands-on experience and long-term growth opportunities in marketing, communication, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup and execution of event marketing campaigns and promotional activations
• Engage with customers at events to educate them on products, services, and current promotions
• Work alongside experienced team members to develop strong communication, presentation, and marketing skills
• Represent client brands professionally while creating a positive customer experience
• Assist with event logistics, including materials, displays, and booth setup
• Attend team trainings and workshops focused on marketing strategy, leadership, and campaign performance
• Help track event results, customer interactions, and daily performance goals
• Take on leadership responsibilities in small-scale event projects as you grow

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• Experience in customer service, promotions, events, hospitality, or leadership is a plus
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in event marketing and leadership development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High energy, confidence, and comfort speaking with new people
• Ambitious, motivated, and eager to learn
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus
