About the Role
AKG & Company is seeking a full-time, on-site Law Graduate to join their team in Delhi, India. This role offers exposure to various practice areas and opportunities to develop practical legal skills under guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with legal research.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Supporting senior professionals on matters related to business and employment law.
- Preparing case summaries.
- Organizing documentation and maintaining case files.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law to support client advisories and internal opinions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core Law subjects, with exposure to Business Law and Labor and Employment Law.
- Ability to conduct structured legal research and synthesize findings.
- Proficient writing skills for drafting contracts, notices, opinions, and other legal documents.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Hindi is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council is preferred or in progress.
- Strong ethical standards and professionalism.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an office setting.
- Good time management and organization skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different practice areas.
