Nuvo is bringing B2B commerce online, aiming to transform the $11T B2B Commerce and Payments Market. While consumer commerce has been reshaped by technology, the business-to-business (B2B) economy has lagged, with many businesses still using outdated methods for managing trading relationships and commerce activities. Nuvo aims to achieve for B2B companies what Shopify, Stripe, and Square have done for consumer companies.

About The Role

Nuvo is seeking smart engineers to help build category-defining products. The challenges involve scaling AI agents, multi-agent workflows that automate risk and payments, and running agents on large-scale data. You will partner with engineering, design, and product teams to shape the roadmap, solve real-world problems, and build 0-1 products. Your work will have a significant impact on team culture, customers, and the economy.

What You’ll Do

• Own a real project end to end over the internship, shipping code that reaches customers building on the Nuvo trade network.
• Write high-quality, clean, and performant code with support and code review from experienced engineers.
• Collaborate across the team to build intuitive experiences and learn how a fast-moving early-stage company operates.
• Contribute ideas and shape real product and engineering decisions.
• Utilize appropriate tools for the job, with assistance to get up to speed on the stack quickly.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a CS or related degree with solid fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Evidence of building things you care about, such as coursework, side projects, hackathons, or prior internships.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to ask questions and learn fast.
• Genuine curiosity about internet technologies and a bias for action in an ambiguous, fast-growing environment.
