About the Role

Seeking a Cinematographer Intern to join the video production team. This role offers hands-on experience in camera operation, lighting, and shot composition, working alongside the Director of Photography (DP) and creative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and equipment for indoor and outdoor shoots.
• Assist the DP and camera crew with framing, camera angles, and on-set tasks.
• Help create shot lists and storyboards during pre-production.
• Operate secondary cameras and assist with camera movements (tracking, panning, tilting).
• Organize and log footage, and assist with basic editing (audio-video sync, color correction).
• Maintain, clean, and track equipment inventory.
• Collaborate with directors and producers, and contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications

• Passion for visual storytelling.
• Some hands-on camera or lighting experience (college projects and personal work are acceptable).
• Ability to share a portfolio, showreel, or sample work.
• Receptiveness to feedback and a drive for growth.
• A "Never Give In" attitude and eagerness to learn quickly.
• Alignment with the mission of making skilling accessible.
