About the Role
Field Service Engineer in the Baltimore/DC area for an established manufacturer of instruments used for R&D and Quality. The company has a strong focus on the food/bev, pharma, fragrance, cosmetic, and personal care markets.
Key Responsibilities
- On-site service and support at customer locations, including annual preventative maintenance and repair.
- Installation, commissioning, and training at customer locations.
- In-house depot and repair of instruments.
- Technical support via online, video, and phone.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to travel around the U.S. as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience repairing and supporting lab instruments or electro-mechanical instruments.
- Prior field service experience is not required; a hands-on person coming from the lab will be considered.
- A chemistry background is ideal, but not required.
