Service Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in the Pune Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair of industrial air compressors, air dryers, filters, and associated equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose technical issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Provide timely field service and technical support to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
• Prepare service reports and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with the internal team for spare parts and upgrades.
• Communicate clearly with customers on service findings and recommendations.
• Support energy-saving initiatives.
• Adhere to safety standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of service processes.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interaction, and service reporting.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Technical Support capabilities, including remote guidance, problem resolution, and escalation.
• Maintenance & Repair skills for industrial equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Willingness to travel within the Pune Division and occasionally to nearby regions.
• Commitment to safety practices, quality standards, and customer-centric service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).
• Knowledge of industrial compressors, air dryers, and compressed air systems is highly beneficial.
